All around the world first class passengers are offered outstanding first class service, from the moment they arrive at the airport until the moment they leave their destination.
One airline, however, seems to stand out from the rest.
From gate pick-up and drop-off to a complimentary one-hour massage, Thai Airways truly takes care of its first class customer’s every need with one of their Royal Orchid Lounges .
As soon as you check-in, Thai Airways will have a golf cart waiting to escort you to one of their world class lounges. If you happen to be connecting, they will be waiting to whisk you off to one of their world-class lounges.
Upon arrival at the lounge, dependent on availability, you will be escorted to one of six semi-private rooms. Each room has a couch, a couple seats and a TV—allowing you to unwind before your flight. Just because you’re tucked away in a private room however, doesn’t mean you’ll be forgotten about. The attendant who escorts you to the lounge will bring you a beverage of your choice and present you with menu. The service is outstanding; you’ll never have to go with your class less than half full.
Flying doesn’t always leave you feeling fresh, and Thai Airways understands that. Within the lounge there are several private shower suites, stocked with bath products and luxury towels. The shower suites are sure to please, with rain head showers, luxury vanity areas and private toilets.
After freshening up you can hit the spa for your choice between two one-hour massage treatments. Passengers have the choice between a full body massage or a full body oil massage, completely free of charge. Continue to relax even after your massage, with a cup of tea in the spa’s relaxation room, or maybe by going to one of the steam or sauna rooms.
Maybe you’re coming from another location and have a layover in Bangkok. Guests are made comfortable in one of many nap rooms. Feel free to enjoy these rooms to rest and recharge before your flight.
With so many amenities you may forget to have a bite to eat before takeoff! The lounge offers a buffet, always fully stocked with sweet and savory treats. If you’re looking for something else however, you can always visit the dining area and order off an a la carte menu, which offers various traditional Thai dishes.
After all your rest and relaxation, there is no need to worry about rushing to your gate. When it’s time to board, the same golf cart that brought you to the lounge will be there to drive you to your gate.
With so much to offer first class travelers, the Thai Airways First Class Royal Orchid Lounge at Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport truly makes travel a pleasure.
